Tokyo, the bustling capital city of Japan, is a hub of modernity, culture, and essential services. The primary airport serving Tokyo is Narita International Airport (NRT), with Haneda Airport (HND) serving as another major airport in the region. Narita primarily handles international flights, while Haneda serves both domestic and international routes. Tokyo is not a coastal city with major ports; however, nearby Yokohama serves as a significant port for maritime trade and transportation.

In case of emergencies, individuals can dial 110 to reach the police, 119 for fire and ambulance services, or 118 for emergency maritime assistance. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department ensures law enforcement and public safety throughout the city, while the Tokyo Fire Department handles firefighting, rescue operations, and emergency medical services. For medical emergencies, the Tokyo Fire Department Ambulance Service provides swift and efficient emergency medical assistance.

Emergency Contact Details:

  • Police: 110

  • Fire and Ambulance: 119

  • Emergency Maritime Assistance: 118

Tokyo's efficient transportation networks, advanced infrastructure, and responsive emergency services contribute to its reputation as a global metropolis known for its safety, efficiency, and vibrant culture.
